I'm making a deliberate move from high-performance operations into software development and AI — not because it's easy, but because it's the logical next chapter. For years I managed complex, cross-functional environments under real pressure: leading teams, resolving critical problems in real time, and delivering through 50+ hour weeks without missing a beat. That foundation doesn't disappear when you open a code editor. It sharpens you.
I've already started bridging the gap. In my role as Retail and Hospitality Supervisor at Bird and Bush, I implemented AI-driven solutions for stock management, ordering workflows, and business analysis — seeing firsthand how the right technology cuts complexity and creates real leverage. That experience lit a fire. I'm now fully committed to building the technical skills to create those kinds of solutions from the ground up.
Away from the screen, I bring the same analytical discipline to golf — running precise Gapping Sessions with launch monitors to track carry distances, spin rates, and ball speeds. It's meticulous, iterative, and data-driven. Whether I'm optimising a club selection or debugging a function, the mindset is identical: measure, analyse, improve.
